Rembert Niebel advises clients on intellectual property and copyright law, with a focus on trademark law, unfair competition law and design law. He focuses on advising on license agreements, litigation, trademark portfolios and intellectual property rights in corporate transactions. His clients include international and medium-sized companies in the consumer goods, computer software, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, automotive and construction industries.
Rembert Niebel has more than 25 years of experience in the strategic implementation of complex branding projects and the establishment and expansion of trademark protection, the drafting and negotiation of international license agreements, the handling of intellectual property rights in complex international corporate transactions, and the conduct of complex proceedings by national courts and authorities in cases of infringement of intellectual property rights.
In doing so, he pays particular attention to pragmatic, sustainable and commercially viable solutions which, under certain circumstances, can be achieved faster, more securely and more favorably through negotiations than in contentious proceedings. He always focuses on the commercial goals of his clients, which he consistently pursues.
