Dr. Thomas Hausbeck's practice focuses on advising medium-sized companies, their shareholders and management on corporate and insolvency law and the associated litigation. As a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law, Dr. Hausbeck has many years of tactical and procedural experience

  • in the support and resolution of corporate litigation,
  • in disputes with insolvency administrators, in particular with regard to insolvency avoidance and directors' and shareholders' liability,
  • in the coordination and management of insolvency proceedings,
  • in supporting corporate transactions (mergers & acquisitions - M&A), in particular with regard to succession planning, and
  • with the fulfillment of legal obligations as a shareholder, managing director, board member or supervisory board member (corporate housekeeping).

Based on these skills and his practical experience, Dr. Hausbeck regularly advises on the formation of companies and the drafting of articles of association and internal compliance and good governance issues.

In addition, Dr. Hausbeck advises companies on the development and implementation of sustainable corporate strategies and compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of environmental, social and governance (ESG).

In addition, he is frequently involved in the coordination of legal disputes involving German companies in Germany and abroad and conducts legal disputes for foreign clients before German courts.

As a specialist lawyer for tax law, Dr. Hausbeck is involved in a wide range of tax disputes.

He is a lecturer in corporate law at the Technical University of Munich.
