Handelsblatt "Germany’s Best Lawyers 2023": "Law Firm of the Year for Media- and Copyright Law", three "Lawyer of the Year" awards and 61 lawyer recommendations for SKW Schwarz

This year's edition of the "Germany's Best Lawyers 2023" rating published today by Handelsblatt in cooperation with U.S. publisher Best Lawyers once again names SKW Schwarz "Law Firm of the Year for Media- and Copyright Law."

The title "Lawyer of the Year for Data Protection Law" goes to Dr. Stefan Peintinger. "Lawyer of the Year for Media and Entertainment" is Dr. Martin Diesbach,“ and "Lawyer of the Year for Technology Law" is Dr. Matthias Orthwein.

In the "Ones to watch" section, Dr. Thomas Hohendorf and Dr. Christoph Wiegand were named in the "Intellectual Property Law" category and Hannah Mugler in the "Data Protection Law" and "IT Law" categories respectively.

Every year, the U.S. publication "Best Lawyers" compiles the list of recommendations. In Germany, it is published in exclusive cooperation with Handelsblatt. The "Best Lawyers" nominations are based on a peer-to-peer survey in which business lawyers are asked for their recommendations of competitors.
