SKW Schwarz advises Microwave Techniques on the acquisition of Valvo Bauelemente

SKW Schwarz advises Microwave Techniques LLC on the acquisition of all shares in Valvo Bauelemente GmbH.

The acquisition will create a leading global supplier of 2.45 GHz circulators, isolators, loads and other components.

Microwave Techniques LLC, based in Gorham, Maine, USA, is already the world's leading supplier of high-power microwave solutions. The company is a portfolio company of U.S. private equity firm Anania & Associates Investment Company LLC.

Hamburg-based Valvo Bauelemente GmbH specializes in the manufacture of passive RF and microwave components. The company was part of the Philips Group for a long time before becoming an independent GmbH in 1999.

Given the complementary product portfolios and dual expertise in the design and manufacture of microwave circulators, isolators and loads, the two companies plan to integrate seamlessly in the coming months.
