SKW Schwarz advises Dubbing Brothers on acquisition of Interopa Synchronstudios

Munich, 31 March 2022

SKW Schwarz advised the Dubbing Brothers Group, market leader in the field of multilingual dubbing, on the acquisition of Interopa Film GmbH.

With this transaction, the group strengthens its presence in Germany. Dubbing Brothers had already acquired the German Film & Fernseh Synchron (FFS) in 2019. SKW Schwarz had already advised Dubbing Brothers on the transaction at that time.

The group has now also announced the opening of a new location in Berlin; ten additional studios will strengthen the production capacities of FFS and Interopa.

Interopa, founded in 1959, operates six recording and mixing studios for film and television dubbing in Berlin with 65 employees.

Dubbing Brothers was founded in 1989 and is now represented in six countries (France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain and the USA) with more than 100 studios.

SKW Schwarz, Munich: Dr Sebastian Graf von Wallwitz, LL.M. (Lead, Corporate/M&A), Wilhelm Freiherr von Feilitzsch, LL.M. (Corporate), Denise Schwarz (Employment Law), Nikolai Schmidt (IT), Raluca Calin (Transaction Administration)
