SKW Schwarz Wins Best of Legal Award in the Category "New Work & Culture" and Is Honored in 3 Categories Overall

SKW Schwarz has been named the winner in the "New Work & Culture" category of WirtschaftsWoche's Best of Legal Awards 2022. In the categories "Innovative Business Models" and "Leader of the Year," the firm took second place in each.

The firm scored particularly well for its innovative, highly digitalized way of working: Building on a traditionally strong position in advising on IT, IP and media topics, SKW Schwarz has continuously consolidated its anchoring in the tech scene and adapted the lawyers' working methods accordingly. With the SKW Schwarz Innovation Lab, the firm has established an internal unit oriented toward the agile methods of the tech world and developing technical solutions for previously inefficient advisory processes. SKW Schwarz supports a comprehensive mindset shift among all employees toward a "digital-first" approach with a legal tech curriculum as an integral part of the internal training program.

WirtschaftsWoche, supported by the Handelsblatt Research Institute, looks for the most innovative law firms of the year in twelve subject areas for the "Best of Legal" awards. The top three entries in each category are eligible for the jury's decision. The overall score from the pre-selection and jury round decides the ranking of the top three.

SKW Schwarz had already secured first place in the "New Products & Services" category in 2021.
