SKW Schwarz elects Stephan Morsch as new CEO

Dr. Stephan Morsch is to become the new CEO of the law firm SKW Schwarz. The partner at the Munich office will replace Stefan Schicker, who did not stand for re-election after six years in office, on January 1, 2023.

Stephan Morsch has been a partner at SKW Schwarz in Munich since 2014 and was most recently head of the corporate law/M&A department. In 2019, he founded SKW Schwarz @Tech GmbH as co-managing director together with Stefan Schicker.

"With his focus on legal tech and legal innovation, Stefan Schicker has played a key role in shaping the strategic positioning of the firm," says Stephan Morsch. "Thanks to his successful initiatives, SKW Schwarz now enjoys an excellent reputation as a technology and future-oriented law firm. I look forward to and see it as a positive challenge to continue on this course in the coming years."

SKW Schwarz's topics for the future include the market-oriented expansion of its range of consulting services, increasing the efficiency of internal processes, and making the firm particularly attractive as an employer.

The partners of SKW Schwarz also confirmed Arne Broer, who has assumed the duties of COO since 2018, in his position for a further two years.

SKW Schwarz currently has 60 partners at four locations. In total, more than 120 lawyers work for the firm in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
