SKW Schwarz advises Kadant PAAL on takeover of MAC Service

SKW Schwarz has advised Kadant PAAL GmbH on the acquisition of MAC Service GmbH, a dealer and technical service provider for baling presses, conveyor belts and press containers.

Kadant PAAL is Europe's leading developer and manufacturer of automatic baling presses. With around 200 employees today, Kadant PAAL has been producing high-performance balers at its Georgsmarienhütte site for over 150 years. With MAC Service, the company now has another sales and service partner for customers in southern Germany.

MAC Service, based in Parsdorf near Munich, has been the central service and sales point for the Italian press manufacturer Macpresse Europa since 2009. In addition to sales and technical advice, the company also offers installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs and spare parts service.

SKW Schwarz already advised the Kadant Group on the acquisition of PAAL GmbH.
