The transaction strengthens Eurofins' market presence for audit and certification services in the food industry.

The Eurofins Food Assurance division was established in 2019 and combines the group's food assurance businesses in North America, Europe and Asia into one business unit.
ARS PROBATA GmbH, based in Berlin, Germany, was founded in 2001. The focus of the business is the auditing and certification of food standards such as IFS, KAT, Q&S, MSC/ASC, Nachhaltiger Wirtschaften (ZNU) and according to the EG Öko-VO and organic associations, e.g. Naturland. With a staff of permanent and freelance auditors, the company implements a wide variety of certification procedures across the entire food chain nationwide.
