SKW Schwarz advises Messe München on joint venture with NürnbergMesse

SKW Schwarz has advised Messe München on a joint venture with NürnbergMesse in the beverage and liquid food industry. It is the largest merger of two trade fairs in Germany to date.

As of July 1, 2023, Munich's drinktec, the world's leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, and Nuremberg's BrauBeviale, the leading capital goods trade fair for the beverage industry in Europe, have merged to form the joint venture "YONTEX".

The company is based in Nuremberg. Both trade fairs will continue to be independent brands, retain their names under the joint umbrella of YONTEX and continue their events at previous locations in Munich and Nuremberg.

Messe München is one of the leading international networking platforms and brings together decision-makers from all over the world. The more than 200 events held by Messe München each year attract some 50,000 exhibitors and around three million visitors.

The NürnbergMesse Group is one of the 15 largest exhibition companies in the world. More than 1,000 employees work for the company at eleven locations in Germany, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Greece, Austria and the USA. Its portfolio includes around 120 trade fairs and congresses.
